SABC 1 introduces a brand new cooking show under the tutelage of an experienced Chef. The show, Shayi Bhodwe, loosely translated ‘Cooking a storm’, will follow a journey of ordinary South Africans, who aspire to become good cooks for their families but are a bit challenged in the kitchen.

The show invites South Africans to write and share their cooking aspiration and challenges. The viewers with the most compelling stories will be part of a once in a life time cooking journey to learn new dishes and the mechanics around the kitchen with one of SA’s leading Chefs.
